I hope you enjoy looking at my art and getting to know a bit about me and where my art comes from! :)

Many people have asked me where I get my inspiration for my paintings. The honest answer is that I don't usually set out to paint something specific.  I just put paintbrush to canvas (or paper) and let the art flow from inside of me. To me, every one of my paintings is a kind of self portrait. They are deeply personal and a way to express things that I could never do with words. I think that's what art is - an expression of a person's innermost thoughts and feelings, which evoke an emotional connection in other people when they look at it. It's a kind of window to the heart and soul of a person.
